What are the first actions to take?
Attend Open Days
Attend the open days of the school to ask teachers if they know of companies likely to recruit an apprentice. During these open days, you have the opportunity to speak with students who can also provide you with information about their current companies, if they are likely to recruit for the next academic year. If the student you speak with does not stay in the company, you have nothing to lose by applying to the same company.
Register on LinkedIn or Shapr
Register on LinkedIn or Shapr to build your network. This network can help you find a company. Try to converse with the maximum number of people who are in the branch you are looking for. On LinkedIn, you can apply to job offers.

alternance.emploi.gouv.fr was created by the Ministry of Labor and publishes many apprenticeship offers.
The online Apprenticeship Market offered by many public partners (local missions, CFA, regional councils, etc.)
lapprenti.com publishes a lot of useful info including job offers and a list of all the CFA.
pole-emploi-jeune.fr is a mobile site designed by Pôle Emploi that publishes thousands of contract apprenticeship offers. It also has a mobile app called « Pôle Emploi alternance ».
trouvetonentreprise.com is a very nice site created by former apprentices that offers both job offers and virtual coaching during your search.
Prepare a coherent project
Prepare a coherent project with your previous studies, chosen orientation, your tastes, your summer jobs if you have done any, or an extracurricular activity. For example, if you are applying for a BTS in sales, it is better to have a high school diploma in STG or ES, and done sales jobs, activities that show your dynamism and your social skills.
Direct contact
Computer contact will never replace the direct contact that you could have with companies. So, try to drop off as many CVs and cover letters as possible in agencies. Favor small brokers or general agents initially, because you will be able to do more various tasks than in a headquarters, for example. When you go to submit your CVs, try to dress simply and avoid flashy or outlandish clothes. If you see that your efforts do not succeed, turn to the headquarters of companies. Conversely, for headquarters, applications should be sent very early. Do your research in February or January for a September start, which will give you more chances of an interview.
The local mission
If you are between 16 and 25 years old, you can submit a personalized support application at the nearest mission local to you. When creating a support file, you set objectives that you will have to accomplish with the help of your educational counselor. Your counselor can refer you to companies that have already recruited apprentices in previous years.
The right apprenticeship platform from Pôle Emploi
Pôle emploi can also help you find apprenticeship offers in professionalization or apprenticeship contracts via the platform « La bonne alternance ». The platform’s use is relatively simple. You will need to choose your field (e.g., insurance), then the desired profession (e.g., claims adjuster), and finally the city with a radius ranging from 10 km to 100 km.

Keljob is one of the leading job sites in France. It contains around 30,000 ads in all sectors, professions, and regions. You can find apprenticeship or internship offers there. Recently, Keljob allows importing your CV and cover letter from Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox to apply directly to suitable offers. It is available on the App Store and the Play Store.
Cadremploi offers advanced search by sector (function, industry, location, keywords, salary search). Nearly one million recruiters are on Cadremploi: you find companies, headhunters, recruitment agencies, etc.
Monster is one of the most practical and comprehensive apps. It allows you to search, consult, and apply directly to job offers. You can upload your CV from Dropbox or Google Drive. You can manage your CV from the app. When a new offer matches your criteria, you receive a notification and/or email alert. It is also possible to save your searches.
RegionsJob gives you access to nearly 25,000 job offers from sites like CentreJob, Nordjob, Estjob, ParisJob, PacaJob, SudOuestJob, and RhoneAlpesjob. It allows you to apply directly to offers that interest you and alerts you in real-time as soon as a matching job is posted. The app can be linked to your Facebook, LinkedIn, and Viadeo accounts to expand your network.
Beepjob gathers all geolocated job offers. More than 10,000 ads are available on this site! Beepjob offers a Flash Announcement feature for recruiters who need someone immediately.

Kaptstage is an application that helps you search for internships. As a leader in the sector of internships in companies, the Kaptstage app offers nearly 15,000 conventional internships, professionalization contracts, and also apprenticeship contracts in France or abroad. This app is only available on the App Store.
The internship student platform also offers thousands of internship listings. The app includes a job news section for students, as well as a personalized space to manage your searches and listings. The internship platform also offers tests and video tips to help you land the internship that suits you.
Temp Agencies
